My Mum fecked off with another bloke in the late 70's, cleaned out the joint bank account she had with my old man and left us with nowt. Credit to my Nan (her Mum) she was mortified and brought up my little Brother and I. Did all our cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing etc and helped Dad get back on his feet. He worked hard and long hours and was finally financially secure in the mid 80's new car, nice holidays and a nice little place in the country.
Mother finds out and 8 years cops 25k of the old man.

Where's hers? You can't scream equality from every rooftop then when the shit hits the fan claim some sort of right without children being involved.
Don't know either party all I do know is if the boot was on the other foot everyone would be telling the wife to get her FAIR share.
My mate has just been torn to bits in court when his wife chose to have an affair because he worked to hard. Bought a house for £4.5m and a villa in Portugal. She never worked and preceded to shag the gardener that he paid for. He always defended her because she spent most of her time with the kids even though they had a nanny.
Gym every day, lunch with the girls, 3 months a year abroad in your 2nd home.
Sorry the rules are a fucking joke he offered to have the kids live with him but of course that meant the greedy bitch couldn't get the house so she took him to court. He's never shagged about always been a good dad. Now he's lost his house and has to give her £6k a month in maintaining her lifestyles as well as an even share of the villa.

Why does getting married have to cost a fortune? It seems like everyone is just trying to outdo each other these days and spend £40k/£45k on that one day. It’s all bullshit.
Plus the funny thing is, you go to these weddings where you’ve got trained doves doing circular acrobats during the ceremony and some poncy prick introducing the bride and groom where everyone is eating their average dinner at £45 a head - and then it leads on to a cash bar at night!
Get married, hire a hall/dj, get loads of buffet food and drink for everyone and it’s job done. It doesn’t cost a fortune and everyone has a better time. The whole world has lost itself up it's own arse.

I am sure anyone would change their moral highground if their ex missus was and is being a cunt and the circumstances of the sudden split were all to do with this influx of cash.
You can pretend you wouldn't want to touch their inheritance but in the above situation its the one thing that would fuck her off the most.
If it was a friendly/amicable split its a different story or if their are kids involved.
